Scan pictures

Lest week we had our follow up with the Maternal Fetal Specialist at KU to check on my blood vessels and Daniel's overall measurements. While everything was completely fine, he was asleep facing my spine and stubbornly refused to roll over so we could see his face. I am taking this as a sign that he will sleep like his daddy - completely unconcerned with anything happening around him!

Anyway, the doctor's office called back because they missed a couple of measurements - blood flow to the umbilical cord and the right arm (that makes me laugh for some reason). They asked if I could come back and were happy to see me any time.

We went yesterday. Blood flow to the umbilical cord was perfect and, while Daniel wasn't very awake, he was lying with his head at my right hip bone and his feet at my left, facing up - so there was a perfect shot of his right arm and a nice look at his profile.

And because we'd been so gracious as to come back to see our kid after their omission of a measurement (gee, twist my arm . . . ) they let us see him in 3D (side of his face)

Poor kid has a pointy nose just like me . . . let's hope that his ears are a little more like B's.
