A few people at church have said they can't come to the shower and have begun to bring me things. I cannot get over how cute everything is and am thrilled - yet again - that it's a boy because little boy stuff is so much more to my taste. I think that tiny little pink things would have been fun but these are so much better.
Case in point - this little outfit which consists of newborn sized jeans (who knew there was such a thing!) and a fire truck onsie.
I also love this one with the cars and matching hat!

The feet say beep!
Speaking of ridiculously cute hats and things, check out this teeny KU hat from Kir! It's so sweet. I'm thinking this will be for coming home from the hospital.
One of the things on our registry that I was super excited about was this play mat. It has all kinds of bright animals (sticking loosely to our Noah's Ark theme) and makes something like 8 different noises. So help me, this child will at least appreciate music! Here's the play mat in the box.
And how it'll look set up.
Finally we come to my absolute favorite piece of gear so far. Our church secretary's daughter in law had this swing for her son. It also has a detachable high chair tray. Anyway, her baby hated this swing and absolutely screamed bloody murder the one or two times they tried to put him in it. So, she passed it on to us and it's gorgeous - essentially brand new!
For some reason, this swing has made Daniel's arrival hit home in a way that other things haven't. Checking that it was set up properly, playing with the music settings (two different songs plus nature sounds) and letting it swing itself while Daniel kicked me was amazing.
